Over the past few weeks, I have been busy updating the entire MyCurrencyCollection website. Today, I finally put those changes live. What exactly has changed? Everything, really.
The most noticeable changes were made to the star note lookup, web note lookup, and national banknote lookup. The designs of the lookup forms, results, and behind-the-scenes functionality have all been improved to enhance ease of use, readability, and responsiveness. Check 'em out and let me know what you think.
Less noticeable (but more important) is an update that affects every part of the website. I migrated the old website onto a PHP framework. Previously, no framework was used. For the non-technicals out there, consider MyCurrencyCollection.com a house. I painstakingly uprooted the house, re-constructed its foundation, then set the old house back on the new foundation. This new foundation will allow MyCurrencyCollection to expand beyond just a US paper money reference site. Which brings us to...
The Future of MyCurrencyCollection
It is my goal to make MyCurrencyCollection.com a place for currency collectors to store, organize, and share their collections online. Once you upload your collection information - large images and all - you can:
- Easily show off your notes and sets on the collector forums
- Search or browse your collection even when it is safely locked up in a safe deposit box
- Access to your collection even when not at your personal computer (a limitation of desktop-based collection managers)
- Create custom sets to display groups of notes.
- See interesting and useful statistics about your collection
I hope to have a working version ready by the end of this year. If this sounds interesting to you, visit the homepage. Enter your email address to get occasional updates about the application's progress.
Thanks again for all your great work and very valuable site !!
Regards,
Greg
I realized creating pdf versions would take about the same amount of time as updating the website - so I did that instead. The printable star note tables are back online now.

Thanks
I looked in the database and saw I had one of the plate numbers recorded incorrectly. I've since corrected the information. Go back to the Web Note Lookup (http://mycurrencycollection.com/reference/webs/lookup) and try again. I normally would normally just post the results here, but I don't want to spoil the surprise (and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!).
Enjoy!

Thanks for letting me know of the problem.
